Nantucket is Science sandbox and home to a diverse, talented, and multilingual community with extraordinary talent. The Festival bridges the gap between scientific and creative non-profit organizations and the community at large to share knowledge, experience, wonderment and awe with everyone who calls Nantucket home. AckSciFest shares the world of STEAM in a fun, approachable and accessible way for learners of all ages and backgrounds.

The Maria Mitchell Association creates opportunities for all to develop a life-long passion for science through education, research, and first-hand exploration of the sky, land, and sea of Nantucket Island.
