MMA & NHA SPRING BREAK DISCOVERY WEEK

Grades K - 5

On island for April Break? Join the Maria Mitchell Association (MMA) and the Nantucket Historical Association (NHA) for a special collaborative week of discovery and exploration! We welcome young explorers to embark on a journey melding together science and history.

Participants will be dropped off and picked up from MMA’s Hinchman House Natural Science Museum, 7 Milk Street Nantucket, at 8:50am and 2pm respectively. Each day a MMA naturalist and NHA educator will guide participants on an outbound adventure, lead science and historical activities, and crafts each day.

Each day will traverse a different theme, guiding participants through MMA and NHA properties and Nantucket locations (weather permitting). This is a weeklong collaborative program and is appropriate for ages K – 5!

Registration sign-up is per day, and the cost is $250.

MMA Members receive a 20% discount when signed in to their account.

NHA Members receive a 20% discount by contacting Maura Wendelken, before registration, at mwendelken@nha.org.

This program is generously supported by the Nantucket Golf Club Foundation, the Adam Bloom Memorial Scholarship, and the Massachusetts Afterschool Partnership.
